What is your favorite time of the year? After years and years of living in Moscow where summer is so scarce and evasive, I am truly enjoying knowing that I will have some hot days in Texas! Yes, I know we all are nagging about how hot it is, but trust me, when you have about ten or so hot days at all in a year, it makes you crave for some!

Speaking of some hot days, we are still in 100F heat zone, and yes, it’s a second week of September. So put away all your pumpkin spice, North Texas – we aren’t there yet!! And for now, I would like to share with you this beautiful engagement session of Kenlee and Caleb I’ve shot at White Rock Lake the other week. Full of sunlight and summer breeze!

Originally, we were planning to photograph Kenlee and Caleb’s session early in the morning to get some cool morning air, but life got on our way and we had to move it to the evening. In August it’s usually brutally hot, but this time we got lucky!

The White Rock Lake area was quite windy. The humid evening air was filled with aromas of summer grass and the sounds of cicadas! And it’s just naturally made this lake photo session go so easy, lavish with dreamiest sunset and genuine laughter!
