Dallas Palms & Holiday Inn Wedding Celebration | Hemisha + Fraz

This August I had a pleasure to capture two days of Hemisha and Fraz’ wedding celebrations. They had groom’s wedding reception at Dallas Palms and bride’s wedding reception at Holiday Inn Richardson a week later.

In past years I get to photograph a big variety of South Asian weddings: Indian Weddings, Pakistani weddings, Bangladesh weddings, Afghanistani weddings, and somehow in Dallas they all go under “Indian Wedding” 🙂 And I’ll tell you – I never get tired of seeing a beautiful blends of cultures and traditions that those type of weddings bring me!

So when I get approach by South Asian brides and grooms with a question: have you ever shot an Indian Wedding? I say yes, and I must add:

– I love them all: the bright and colorful clothing, the great abundance of beautiful jewellery and luxury shimmer of the decor! And yet each time each one of the weddings is quite different.

Hemisha and Fraz wedding celebrations were so warm and welcoming! Both families really made you feel festive and at ease. There were smiles and laughter, and even happy tears! I caught myself almost crying while listening Hemisha’ sister speech, so touching it was! Not to mention that I got to eat some great food!

Hemisha and Fraz, thank you for running away with two crazy photographers from your reception to get those twinkly lights pictures! :-p
