Weather wasn’t cooperating past Saturday. Jennifer and I have been watching forecast for a few days, getting ready to move the session to early morning next day, but finally meteorologists agreed on 10% chances of rain – and we decided it’s a good odds!

Jennifer and Scott were driving all the way from Tulsa, OK to get to Dallas downtown by 3pm, and just when they arrived the rain started. Now, we got rained on 3 times throughout our 2 hour photo session. How likely was it? 😛 I’m thinking it’s just a Groundhog day rain loop. Shooting Dallas downtown engagement photo session is already challenging because of the traffic, construction and people, and now the weather was adding a spike to it.

But we didn’t give up! We continue the session through the rain, the fog, through various wardrobe malfunctions, confusing navigation system bringing us to very sketchy areas and power-hungry parking attendants! Despite all of it Jennifer and Scott were just a dream: so positive and easy to work with!

We were triumphant and got great shots! And I had so much fun – I seriously believe challenges make it so much more interesting and make me more creative!  Happy engagement, Jennifer and Scott, I can’t wait till your wedding day!
