Ever since my first meeting with Ana and Imran I knew – their wedding will be epic!! 3 days of celebration, 5 outfit changes and white Rolls-Royce as an exit vehicle! But what’s most important, I also knew how important all the cultural and religious ceremonies that Imran and Ana’s families hold so dear to their hearts!
Indian wedding – it’s a celebration of love and unity not just for the bride and groom, but also the family lines that will go together side by side and support each other from that day on! A lot of times it’s not easy for the bride and groom to go through all the ceremonies for a few days in a row, trust me! There are always something happens throughout the celebrations that could’ve wiped away the smiles from their faces, and, even simple thing like lack of sleeping could make you cranky. And I should say Imran and Ana were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire 3 days: patience, beaming with happiness and kind to everyone around, and, most importantly, to each other! They were one of the most stoic couple I’ve got photograph so far!
I’m sure a lot of that patience comes for their long distance engagement. For a few years Imran and Ana were living in different states and had to fly to see each other, and that definitely practices self discipline and patience. I really believe, and they are my living proof, it makes true love stronger!
It has been nothing but wonderful experience to photograph them and their families and friends! And they made me feel like I was a part of the family too! Imran and Ana, I love you guys and I wish you all the best in your life-long journey together!
