Robert Carr Chapel Wedding | Lauren and Chaz

The last day of summer, right before I was supposed to hit the road to go to Florida but had to emergency moved everything around because of the hurricane, I had a privilege of photographing Lauren and Chaz’ TCU Robert Carr Chapel wedding ceremony and the reception at 5th and Carrol.

When Lauren told me that her ceremony will be at Robert Carr, I just couldn’t wait till that day – this place is truly everything I’d want from a ceremony location – beautiful, elegant and full of light. I’ve never had the chance to shoot there before, so that’s also a stimulating creativity to find the best light and locations.

So sorry not sorry, for all the different bridal portraits and all the little details shots – this wedding was inspiring me for a lot of them!

But, truly, on such a big weekend for me personally (with the hurricane Dorian coming) it was so refreshing professionally to get to serve such sweet, fun-loving people like Lauren, Chaz and their family and friends.

And hey, when I arrived at the getting ready room, the door was slightly open, I’ve heard such a contagious laughter that just made me smile before I even walked in into the bridal suit! I knew this wedding was going to be awesome!

Seriously, though. Lauren. Chaz. From the first time I talked with you, to the moment I heard that catching laughter on the other side of your getting ready room door, I knew that I was going to love your wedding day — and I did.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the trust you placed in me to document the biggest day of your life together thus far. I hope you love looking back on these memories as much as I loved capturing them for you!
