I am obsessed over this dreamy winter nature engagement photo session of Savannah and Alex. I’ve been carefully editing this one, savoring the beautify of the Dallas area winter look, and now I am finally ready to share it with you!
And now I am absolutely convinced that winter in North Texas photographs exceptionally well!
Why? Just look at this photographs!! All that haze in the air, dry weed fields and mix of bare leaves and evergreens crate an amazing backdrop for the light and airy photography style I always crave to create!
So here is my official statement: greenery is HIGHLY overrated 😛 I would choose the sea of dry wild grass ten times over the white-picked-fence-too-perfect-cut-green grass! Because at the end of the day I am not a real-estate photographer 😀 who cares how green the leaves are if they overpower the most important part of the photograph – a couple?
We’ve been re-scheduling this photo session for two months, because of the weather or availability issues. And whatever happens, happens for a reason – I can’t possibly imagine a better background for Savannah and Alex photo shoot then this! And here is another peculiar detail – someone beyond the fields we were photographing at had gender reveal party and they did pop smoke grenade that turned out to be pink. And this pink smoke spread all over the field giving the backdrop extra depth! Ah…
So, my beautiful brides and grooms, fear not of the winter engagement sessions! This is the best season to photograph in Dallas! And this engagement photo session is my proof!
Savannah and Alex, thank you so much for giving me the possibility to capture this amazing engagement session! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding!
